Hello everybody~
It seems like everyone has a scandal these days. Everyone from the President to Monica Lewinsky to Bill Clinton.
Yes, it seems like it's become the "in" thing to do. And, as is the way with most "in" things, The Gaels wasted
no time to show up on the scene. Here is what what happened:
The Gaels' new website went up a little before our last gaelmail was sent out. After a few weeks of the fame and
fortune the internet provided us, we were promptly kicked off our website and fined $150, which fortunately only
amounted to what we were going to pay Brian for the year of 1999. I will explain why this happened shortly, but
first, a new list of upcoming Gaels performances:
This weekend the Gaels will be downtown Minneapolis!

Anyway, back to the Gaels' infamous internet scandal:
We began to think that someone had complained about gaelmail and that we may be shut down
when our server reported that they had received complaints about gaelmail and were going to shut us
down. It turned out to be a big mistake on our server's part (they actually hadn't received any complaints
and The Gaels were allowed back on the internet) but it reminded us to make sure that everyone who is
subscribed to GAELMAIL wants to be. So:
****** 2 IMPORTANT THINGS ********
#1. If you do not wish to receive gaelmail and our letter is being sent to you (yes even you mom),
PLEASE write a letter to mail@thegaels.com with the word UNSUBSCRIBE on it and you will be taken off the list.
#2. We also lost the addresses to the last 20 subscribers who signed up via the internet when our
site was shut down (because we only had them saved on our internet files, which were lost) If you know
of anyone who signed up by visiting our website please e-mail them and tell them to sign up again.
Our website will not allow someone to sign up twice so don't worry about that. We want our fans back!!
